Business Experts to a global fashion company

We are for a clients account now looking for Business Experts to the Finance and Accounting Solution team in Stockholm City. They are looking to expand the team with new colleagues with experience ranging from a few years up to several years of experience within accounting. The Finance and Accounting Solutions team is a part of the Global Finance and Accounting function at the Head Office in Stockholm. Finance and Accounting is responsible for making sure that the company can handle all business initiatives in a legal complying way and ensure that all brands and sales-channels are aligned from an accounting perspective. The team are responsible for assuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace of the company.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as an efficient business partner to Accounting operation, Business development and IT.
• Lead and drive accounting expertise in projects initiated in the group to continue to develop costumer offer.
• Develop and influence the global accounting processes and ensure best practice.
• Work closely with Central and Local Accounting to ensure that Accounting requirements are covered in the system solutions
• Support colleagues around the world with solution knowledge and best practice

As a Business Expert in the Finance and Accounting Solutions team you will mainly be working with business support to the global accounting organization as well as participate in accounting related projects. For example, the company is currently replacing the core accounting systems and building a global SAP platform. The focus areas are General accounting, Management & Financial reporting which includes a strong connection with sales and logistics departments.
You will lead and deliver in cross-functional projects together with colleagues from Sales, Logistics as well as the local Accounting Offices across the world. You will drive the work forward in close collaboration with IT to succeed in the Business development initiatives.

YOUR SKILLS

• University degree within Accounting and Finance (or similar)
• 3 to 8 years of relevant working experience
• Strong analytical skills
• A genuine interest in supporting and helping others
• Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
• Good MS office skills, as design improvements need to be documented and presented
• Experience from accounting process flows from a system perspective is an advantage
