Business Intelligence developer

Perido is looking for a Business Intelligence developer to our client, a global employer offering a diverse and innovative culture and competitive rewards. The position is based in Stockholm within our clients headquarters.

Description
You will be working near oue clients business users and operational analytics to discuss ideas and solutions. Technically you will handle design and implementation of data layers and development of dimensions and hierarchies in OLAP-cubes based on Microsoft SQL Server, Integration Services, Reporting Services and Analysis Services. Your work will include;

-Write advanced MDX queries according to business requirements
-Data base development in SQL Server
-Consolidation and integration of data from diverse source systems into our clients Data Warehouse (a uniform SQL Server 2008)
-Support our clients SuperUsers and take a proactive role in development of drill-down/detail, and summary standard reports including charts dashboards, trens analysis reports and sub-reports according to business requirements
-Performance monitoring measures for sales, trends + executive summary measures for revenue, costs, profitability trends etc.

We believe that the right person for this position have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You are open, communicative and comfortable with working closely with various teams and departments within our clients business. Experienced team member; dynamic, driven, proactive and with ability to balance a strong business sense with technical quality awareness. Regular communication with the business stakeholders to discuss requriements, solutions and tests, manage expectations and keep them informed of progress is essential.

Requirements / ideal candidate will have:
-Data integration, data conversaion and design / implementation
-System integration, data layers, stored procedures, reporting/analysis and SQL-programming in Microsoft environment
-Design, Development and Deployment of data layers and OLAP-cubes based on Microsoft SQL Server, DTS, SSAS, SSRS and SSIS
I-ndepth knowledge of MDX and T-SQL and skills in .NET -development and Sharepoint is required
-Advanced Excel user expereience
-A genuine interest in analysis, statistics and data mining
-Familiar with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)

Advantageous:
-Experience from utilizing the ETL capabilities of SQL Server -Integration Services to define data imports, build scheduling packages, define integration flows, log data errors/exceptions, define DB maintenance plans etc.
-BI-related Sharepoint development (dashboards with drill-down capabilities, role mombership, report subscriptions etc.)
-Knowledge of Report Builder tool
-Knowledge of Power Pivot and Power View
-Experience from international company

Contract type and hours
