Business Line Controller till Consolis (Sweden or the Netherlands)

About the role

In this position you are supporting the business to make well-informed management decisions and maintain a high level of work quality. You will report to the Building Business Line CFO and work closely with Finance teams in 11 countries located in Northern and Eastern Europe.

As a Business Line Controller you will:


• Assist the Business Line CFO in monitoring financial and operational performance, highlighting opportunities and risk, providing insights for strategic decision making.
• Work closely with Finance Staff across the Business Units in the different countries
• Prepare and comment monthly consolidated financial reporting at Business Line Level with strong focus on P&L and cash-flow performances.
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc business and performance analysis/diagnosis
• Intervene in Business Units to assist local teams in targeted controlling missions
• Develop the use and functionalities of the existing BI tool

Desired skills and experience


• At least a bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering with at least five years of relevant working experience in contracting or industrial environment
• Ready to travel on a frequent basis and willing to evolve internationally medium-term
• Ability to independently drive processes forward: delivery mindset, high integrity and accountable attitude
• In order of importance, we require fluent written and spoken English. Other European languages are considered a merit.
• Enjoy combining tasks of analytical and complex nature with tasks of a more communicative nature.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and possibly experience in financial reporting systems; strong analytical and presentation skills (including business English).
