Business Package Team Leader - Aftermarket

We are now looking for a Business Package Team Leader - Aftermarket to be globally responsible for aftermarket questions for turbo chargers within Volvo Powertrain. The Business Package Team Leader - Aftermarket shall see to that aftermarket requirements are taken into consideration early in the design phase, in cooperation with suppliers as well as develop efficient support to quality and service organisations. We work in a global organisation with global markets why the position will be very interesting and challenging. Besides some years of Engineering or Aftermarket experience it is desirable that you have worked in Volvo Powertrain processes as well as tools and systems. Job Description: You will represent Aftermarket in the Business Package Team for turbochargers. The Business Package Team gives the cross functional support to projects but supports also in Technical Analysis and Warranty questions. Business Package Team Leader - Aftermarket activities contains; Co-ordinate and represent Aftermarket, TA & Warranty in the Business Package Team for turbo chargers. Define the AM requirements for turbochargers and develop AM strategies for maintainability, diagnostic, Reman, warranty, and spare parts. Support Aftermarket project leaders and co-ordinate the project requirements Define actions and agree on how to improve maintenance cost and uptime, branding, AM business, spare parts, service kits, field feedback, TMA repair methods etc. Secure warranty charter is negotiated when dealing with suppliers Supplier selection is done to meet aftermarket requirements Secure that turbo decisions in projects are in line with AM strategies Secure that new AE concepts are developed in accordance with AM requirements Preferred qualifications: University/college graduated in engineering or equivalent work experience 3-5 years Engineering or Aftermarket experience Project management experience Fully proficient in English Drive to improve our products, organisation, processes and him/her. Business and Customer oriented mindset. Understanding customer needs and addressing the needs to all organisation stakeholders. Communication skills: listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understanding and actively seeking feedback. High co-operation abilities and goal oriented Professionalism: Dealing directly and forthright with people and problems, persisting to get the job done and managing personal responses and stress. Personal skills and characters: Drive to improve our products, organisation, processes and him/her. Business and Customer oriented mindset. Understanding customer needs and addressing the needs to all organisation stakeholders. Communication skills: listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understanding and actively seeking feedback. High co-operation abilities and goal oriented Professionalism: Dealing directly and forthright with people and problems, persisting to get the job done and managing personal responses and stress.
