You have 5+ years’ experience with increased responsibility in relevant business steering or finance related field and previous experience in business performance management and/or financial management, preferably in a multinational organization. You have the ability to communicate confidently in English (both spoken and written) and have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business / Finance / Economics or a related field.
You have a good knowledge of project management processes, you are computer/smart device literate and tech savvy. You have experience in data analysis, developing metrics and projections based on analysis results. You can translate figures and data, simplify, and present them creatively.
You have a comprehensive understanding of how to structure data and information in both processes and information technology tools to ensure reliable, accessible, and relevant information. You also have a good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics, and their wide-ranging applications in business context.
As a person you are flexible, multi-tasker, fast learner, and pro-active, comfortable handling unclear or unpredictable situations; you can work under pressure, meet required deadlines and know how to prioritise your work. In other words, you are a passionate and hands on professional with a strong sense of urgency and a solution focused approach.
You are an open-minded team player, with good communication skills that help you to navigate through the different levels of the organization and build strong relationships. You enjoy working, collaborating, and co-creating in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional, multicultural and multinational environment.

This includes securing (financial) business performance, and a safe and secure environment in compliance with laws, policies, standards, and processes.
Business Steering is divided in different areas, amongst which, Retail Operations. Within Retail Operations we have 4 teams focusing on different topics. The Business analyst we are recruiting will be part of the BN Matrix and Financial Performance team.
As a Business Analyst, you will contribute to the success and further development of the functional agenda across Ingka by preparing analysis, insights recommendations and by maintaining, coordinating, and further developing financial plans and planning processes.
You will work together with Business Navigators, Business Steering Team Leaders and Business Steering Business Partners to support planning, performance management and decision support processes in the businesses, Group Functions, Service Functions and/or country Business Navigation organisations.
More specifically, this means you will:
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate holistic, reliable and relevant analyses, insights, plans and recommendations in the assigned area of competence, working closely with key stakeholders
· Support the Business Navigators and other stakeholders by maximising the use of existing reports and creating new reports/tools where needed.
· Contribute to the development of business opportunities, projects, business initiatives, new technologies and innovations.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of new ways of steering and measuring the business in a new omnichannel environment.
· Assess trends, business opportunities, (new) ways of working and risks, and advise on actions for improvement.
· Contribute to the implementation of Ingka Financial Strategy, planning, resource allocation and performance management.
· Monitor and steer business and operational activities in order to fulfil goals for relevant stakeholders.
· Maintain, coordinate and produce assigned reports; actuals and forecasts; further develop parts of the financial performance framework.
· Support the business by providing simulations, scenarios and forecasts.
This is a temporary position until 20220930.
You will be based in the Malmö office, Hubhult, and will report to the Overall BN Matrix & Financial Performance Team Leader.
