Job Description
Sales is a global function within the H&M brand with the mission of growing and engaging our customer base, as well as growing and developing our sales channels. By holding the responsibility for our regions and bringing together expertise from both business and digital & tech perspectives, Sales plays a key role in delivering on our brand plan - to elevate H&M through product, experience, and brand providing aspirational fashion at an unbeatable price.
The mission of the Merchandising unit in Sales is to meet and create customer and consumer demand through product offer optimization and activation.
Key Responsibilities:
Create business development strategies and tactics for commercial and relevant product offer and category management to increase profitable growth
Develop and set vision for future method, tools and best practices in areas of connecting customer insights and product offer, product activation and optimization, product performance
Foresee future business analytical needs and drive the development of these together with relevant stakeholders
Be at the forefront of future trends connected to both existing and new channels which impact merchandising way of working
Combines functional expertise with a holistic business perspective to be able to identify and drive new business opportunities
Support bigger projects and initiatives bringing merchandising experience and competences
Actively assure that our developments are aligned with commercial priorities, product focuses as well as current customer demands and needs

Qualifications
A University degree in Business, Economics/ Finance, or similar knowledge from experience
3+ years of experience in roles within merchandising, e-commerce, business development, business strategy or similar field.
Strong communication and coordination skills to set processes, identify new possibilities and engage community to share best practices.
Strong business understanding
Previous experience within leadership, and have a strong interest for people and developing others
Project Management skills
The drive to shape something new, to further develop methods and WoW within merchandising to ensure we are in the forefront in how we enable and support stakeholders
Analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear insights as a base for decisions
