Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and we are now strengthening our Supply Chain organization with a talented Buyer planner. You will be part of the Supply Planning Spare Parts team of EMEA. The position offers you a unique opportunity to manage, improve and optimize the supply planning, to be the contact person for a large amount of suppliers and to interface with a wide variety of stakeholders inside and outside the organization.

The position
In this position you will be responsible for the daily material planning and operational purchasing of spare parts, with the main goal to optimize availability and delivery service. You will be involved in active dialogues with external suppliers, internal logistics, production, strategic procurement etc.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Day-to-day planning and execution of purchase orders in the ERP-system.
• Monitoring and solving any delivery or availability problems that may occur.
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers regarding deliveries, price deviations and claim handling.
• Actively work together with suppliers to improve lead times and availability whilst reducing inventory levels and working capital.
• Participating in operative supplier meetings with review of KPIs, invoicing issues, claims or other operational issues.
• Maintaining relevant master data within the assigned assortment.
• Actively contribute to the department´s development in terms of processes and internal routines as well as participate in relevant projects.

The position is located in Getinge and limited travel is required. You will be reporting to the Manager of Supply Planning Spare Parts EMEA.

The ideal candidate
The person we are looking for is ideally working as a buyer planner or purchaser in a regulatory industry and/or complex environment today. You are used to interact with different stakeholders and to analyze results in a role that gives you a great amount of freedom and own responsibility.

Some of your key characteristics include:

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering or a few years of experience from similar tasks in an equally complex environment.
• Experience from IT/planning systems, preferably from the use of material planning systems.
• Knowledge in SAP and/or M3 is favorable.
• Comfortable using MS Excel is required.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English both written and spoken, and preferably also in Swedish.

As a person you are a driven and open-minded team-player who drives results and takes responsibility. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Being able to communicate efficiently and interact with different people, within the organization as well as externally, is important in order to succeed in the role. You have an analytical mindset, a good sense of urgency and an ability to coordinate multiple open problems and challenges. Being used to working in a changing environment is another key success-factor.
