That's what we call - Taking oil further. For the Supply Chain Procurement department in Johanneshov, we are currently recruiting a Buyer. Your key responsibility will be to operate cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation sourcing decisions Main duties will include: *Liaise with internal customers to ensure implementation of strategic projects *Support work with existing & new contracts and client relations cross functions.*Purchase products and services in congruence with corporate strategies *Conduct commercial reviews *Evaluate appropriate suppliers of materials and services *Evaluate competitive bids *Administer & revise procurement practices in accordance with related laws & regulations *Ongoing promote cost reduction *Support procurement risk management & maintain market awareness You will report to Procurement Manager, Supply Chain The successful candidate has ideally an academic degree in Science and/or Engineering, preferably with a post-graduate specialization in Procurement Management.The position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field of Entrepreneurial Procurement/Engineering, ideally from the process industry.You have a proven track record of previous procurement projects and you possess a well developed understanding for long term procurement processes.You must be fluent in Swedish and English and you are a proficient user of MS Office and Lotus Notes.Experience from ERP-systems and Procurement modules such as Oracle, JDE, Ariba etc.is an advantage..To do well in this position, you are result driven with excellent client communication & negotiation skills.You are a high performer with a natural drive for business and success.A service minded, enterprising and self reliant attitude with a high level of integrity is essential for the role.You must be used to work independently and to handle projects under time pressure in an international & dynamic environment.Further on, you are analytical and financially literate with strong administrative and organizational skills.The position requires travelling to some extent.
