BWR technology lead

You will be responsible for developing the EKS strategy and process for short- and long-term technical status assessment of BWR plants, further on be sure to follow and monitor the development of regulations and regulatory requirements that have an impact on technical solutions and maintenance strategies. Further review and assess proposed amendments of existing and new regulations from a technical perspective.

Additional responsibilities is to actively challenge and help with the development of technical modifications of Ringhals and Forsmark, regularly review and evaluate the BWR technical status and to represent the EKS in relevant national and / or industrial Committees and working groups in BWR technology, you are also expected to take own initiatives to create different forum for critical issues within the area.

You are responsible for plant-specific BWR technical studies and analyzes from an ownership perspective, including recommendations and actions ("ad-hoc" -issues), to support the Strategic Asset Management Ringhals & Forsmark in business issues, technical evaluation and analysis of BWR plants in the EKS strategic plan and portfolio valuation. Further work is to evaluate the BWR plant modifications in the EKS investment process and act to align BWR plant modifications with the EKS lifetime strategy for each unit. In addition, you are responsible for knowledge transfer, quality assurance, and development within the EKS for BWR technical issues and bring good examples from abroad, EKS and BWR sites.

You will report to the CEO and the role is located in Malmo.

Qualifications
We want you to have a Master of Engineering with several years of experience working at nuclear power plants in engineering or maintenance, and with specific experience in plant modification projects. You have good knowledge in I & C and the steam-water cycle and reactor processes and their components. You speak and write English fluently and are willing to learn Swedish.
