Job description:

Sol Voltaics improves the efficiency of energy capture, generation and storage using miniscule amounts of nanomaterials. We are a small, fast-growing company developing a high volume production technology called Aerotaxy. Our nanowire solar cell technology dramatically improves the efficiency of solar cells, contributing to a sustainable energy world.

What will you do?

As a Development Engineer in the Cell Engineering & Applications group, you will focus on process development for pre-production solar cells and modules. The work requires significant lab work and interaction with technical partners and customers. You will also contribute to prototyping of nanowire based solar cells.

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced engineer with a background in solar cell development or manufacturing or from other semiconductor process development. You hold a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field with a few years of experience from the solar cell or semiconductor industries or you have greater than 5 years of directly applicable solar experience . Prior experience with thin film solar cells, or flexible solar cells/electronics would be beneficial. You will be a technical contributor and are expected to participate in and conduct hands-on experimental work as well as lead or participate in foundry or co-development projects. You need to be adaptable and able to work on projects
independently as well as in a larger team.
You speak and write fluently in English

You are excited about being part of a high energy start-up and are prepared to help out with tasks that lie outside of your usual responsibility area when needed. The day-to-day work is based in Lund, Sweden, but the position may require some travel.
