What you will do

As the CFO at NIRA Dynamics you are overall responsible for NIRAs financial processes; planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring financial resources in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives. NIRA is a small company and works with innovation and growth with new business, therefore the CFO is an active part in creating profitability and sustainable growth. At the same time, the company operates in a global arena and is part of the VW Group, which requires the CFO to drive NIRA's perspectives and be responsive towards directives from owners. As CFO, your primary relations will be with “CSO”, Car Software Organization, which is an independent business unit within the VW Group.

Your team consists of three members with different responsibilities within controlling, accounting, payroll- and administration. This requires that you provide support in everything from simpler to more advanced issues. You will report to the CEO and you are a vital part of the management team of NIRA. Your goal is to make financial management an important tool for the entire business in the new phase of NIRA.

More specific, you will have the overall responsibility of;

- Operational and strategical development of finance and administration
- Financial reporting to the board and owners.
- Lead and support the Management team towards right financial decisions.
- Budgeting and follow-up.
- Internal and external accounting.
- Overall administration.
- Payroll administration.
- Personnel responsibility for the finance and administration department.
- Financial and business tools.

Who are we looking for?

You are a person who acts from a holistic perspective with the ability to both understand strategies and operative priorities of the business in order to achieve set objectives. You develop short- and long-term plans that are comprehensive and realistic. When things change and circumstances alter you stay calm and continue working in a positive and encouraging way. Demonstrates understanding of current and anticipated client needs in decision making and to this, applies knowledge of key business drivers and measurements. You establish credibility in your relations, develop new relationships and strengthen existing ones by actively interacting with others. You also have the ability to make your position clear to those around you by communicating in a way that provides direction and promotes cooperation and action.

Personal potential is vital, but to succeed in the role we want you to have:

- Academic education within economics or related.
- Experience of managing the financial year as finance manager, at least three cycles within an international context.
- Experience of working in a technical organisation where software applications are part of the business.
- Experience of driving business development as part of a management team from an economic holistic perspective.
- Previous experience of being responsible for a finance function, with or without subordinate staff.
- Fluent English in speech and writing.
- Good knowledge Microsoft Office programs.
- Good knowledge Swedish accounting legislation.
