Chief Accountant

We are searching for a Chief Accountant to be based in Stockholm.Candidates must possess a good knowledge of accounting and enjoy working in a challenging and international environment.Responsibilities: - Accounting: Quarterly and monthly closings - accruals, fixed assets register, calculation of depreciation, stock valuation ; Liasing with auditors, preparation of yearly statutory accounts.- Tax: Ensure correct Vat legislation is applied across all brands and stores, prepare Vat declaration and other tax returns (intrastat, construction industry scheme, business rates etc), quarterly tax estimation, preparation of data for yearly tax computation, tax registration for new companies.- Legal: Liase with Inditex legal dept re board minutes of meetings, statutory disclosures, lease agreements data (rent free, capital contributions), incorporation of new companies - Bank:organisation of bank accounts and merchant services (including yearly fees review), preparation of cash flow statements for local and group purposes, claim unpaid cheques and manual vouchers, payments to the group and external suppliers Requirements: -Minimum 3 years experience as an auditor with a multinational auditing company.Solid accounting knowledge -Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field.-aptitude for figures -well organised -able to meet deadlines -aptitude for working with computers -discretion when dealing with confidential information .Able to analyse and solve problems and able to work as part of a team .Flexible, enthusiastic with good communication skills .Excellent English and Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing.Spanish valued.Would you like to be a part of this international organization?
