The Role as Chief Compliance Officer

The focus in this role is to Lead and develop a compliance team and cross-functional teams to ensure a high degree of company support and effective execution. You will plan, design and implement the company’s compliance program.

This will, among other duties, include to:

- drive the company’s core compliance processes including risk assessments and testing of relevant regulations, measurement and adherence to compliance metrics, and lead all internal/external reporting on the overall state of compliance.
- drive the creation and adoption of a company-wide Culture of Compliance that meets ISO and U.S. guidance and industry best-practice
- create and monitor a Compliance Management System (CMS). Plan, design and implement company’s compliance program
- evaluate business objectives and regulatory developments, and propose compliance solutions within the firm's risk tolerance and regulatory requirements.
- monitor company's compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies

The position will be based in the Koenigsegg headquarters in Ängelholm, Sweden
Minimum Requirements

University or bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant training in combination with experience in the field of Compliance within the Automotive industry.

Qualifications include but not limited to:

- BSc/ Masters in Engineering, Business, Law
- Minimum 10 years of experience with regulations and laws.
- Knowledge of ISO and US guidance
- Automotive industry experience
- Experience creating and overseeing compliance risk assessments, internal controls policies, procedures, monitoring, reporting, and auditing in support of a culture of compliance.
- Strong knowledge of automotive recall legislation and regulations (NHTSA, EU and UN) and implementation
- Experience with homologation, production compliance, and product compliance, aftermarket including overseeing recalls, corrective actions, and agency audits.

Strong experience working with regulatory agencies and successfully completing audit

Excellent communication skills (verbal /written)

Strong interpersonal and communication to build relationships across the Koenigsegg organization, government authorities, test labs, industry, and external stakeholders.

Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-cultural and diverse working environment.
