Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role and responsibilities

Sinch is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our IT Infrastructure team. Our mission is to develop, automate and maintain our IT infrastructure to scale up and down as business requirements changes, support our development and NOC teams while focusing on continuous delivery of service. You will maintain and develop our AWS, virtual and on-premise infrastructure in general. You will also have specific system ownerships. Today the team handles servers, clients, networking, database-clusters and storage solutions for both our production and internal platforms, both on premise and with cloud infrastructure. We are on an exciting journey towards cloud and we need you with strong DevOps interest and passion for AWS on board with us!

Your background


• Some years experience from Linux System administration
• General IT infrastructure knowledge with dev mindset. Knowledge of infrastucture but be comfortable with automation, version control and continuous deployment practices.
• Passion for Infra as code and coding skills to match it. E. g. scripting languages.
• Passion for Amazon Web Services (or a passion to learn!)

It’s a great plus if you have experience within


• Security such as DevSec or/and SecOps
• Configuration management saltstack, ansible or puppet
• AWS experience and/or certification
• Cloud monitoring tools such as Datadog
• Backend developing
• Docker
