Cloud / NFV Engineer

The Clavister Product Management team is responsible for planning new products, driving development of products and is acting as a bridge between many parts of the Clavister organization. An important part of Clavister's product offering is related to security in virtualized environments, such as public or private clouds, or within a virtualized telecom infrastructure where concepts such as NFV and SDN play important roles.

We are now looking for an engineer with a solid experience in virtualization technologies to strengthen our product management team.

Primary Responsibilities

- Provide expertise within the field of virtualization to product managers and system architects when planning and designing products.
- Conduct own research and actively follow other research activities related to cloud and virtualization.
- Represent Clavister in standardization bodies, such as the ETSI NFV SIG and the Linux OPNFV group.
- Provide technical sales support to the Clavister sales teams.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Network Technology is beneficial.

- Good time-management skills and ability to deliver the right results at the right time.
- Good communications skills in English, both written and verbally.
- Self-motivated and committed.

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with Openstack.
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Good understanding of NFV/SDN technologies and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience in Linux administration and deployment.
- Good knowledge in C-programming.
- Knowledge of IP security is considered a plus.
