You will be a part of ABB Force Measurement in Västerås, which is a Business Line within the Measurement and Analytics Division. ABB's Measurement & Analytics division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers. With thousands of experts around the world and high-performance digital technology, ABB's team is dedicated to making measurement easy for its industrial and energy customers to let them operate more efficiently and profitably.
The Commissioning Engineer is an important position in the execution of service, support and engineering activities on customer sites worldwide and remotely from our office. The role will be reporting to Service & Support Manager.
This is an opportunity to work with market leading products in a small ABB unit. The role includes aspects from unique technologies and products to customer interactions globally to understand applications and needs. Team in Västerås include R&D, Operations, Marketing & Sales, Product Management and Service.

Your responsibilities
Commission and service of Force Measurement products in the field
Support and train colleagues on our products and customer application
Build and share knowledge of our customers process, utilize knowledge in assignments
Take part of our service product and process development
Conducts risk and opportunity assessments before and during work

Your background
Technical academic degree
Willingness to travel globally to a high degree (60%)
Fluency in English and Swedish
Hands-on technical interest and knowledge
Problem solving skills
Willing to drive, grow and develop own skills.
Self-driven personality with good communication skills
customer process knowledge (rolling mills) and control technology/theory are considered as advantages
