The role:
The Communications Manager leads the development and implementation of strategic communications for the ImmunoDiagnostics business, which develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases.
With 1,900 employees worldwide. and 1,000 in Sweden, we are a leading provider of in-vitro allergy testing and autoimmunity diagnostics. This role reports to the Senior Director, Communications, Specialty Diagnostics.
As an integral member of the business leadership team, you will lead executive communications, storytelling, organizational change communications, creative content development and strategic communications planning to connect global employees to the company Mission, the business and each other.


How will you make an impact?
• Build, implement, measure and optimize the communications strategies that drive engagement among employees.
• Sourcing customer/patient success stories, developing content and disseminating them using appropriate methods to inspire, engage and retain employees.
• Craft executive communications for the Division President and developing a thought leadership platform.
• Partner with the broader communications team and other functions on internal communications initiatives.
• Manage internal communications channels and platforms and select external communications activities.
• Provide strategic communications support for senior-level organizational changes and large-scale or sensitive change management initiatives and business transformations.


How will you get here?
• Bachelor’s degree with proven experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, internal communications or communication agency experience working for/with a medium- to large-sized global organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge in developing, deploying and activating communication campaigns with measurable business impact.
• Experience collaborating with and coaching senior leaders, and ability to develop content in their voice and style.
• Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization.
• Combination of strategic and creative problem solver and hands-on tactician.
• Experience in crafting and implementing organizational change strategies.
• Experience in social media platforms, intranet content creation and other communication technologies.


Knowledge, skills, abilities:
• Proven ability to build multi-channel creative content customized by audience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Ability to effectively influence and collaborate to achieve team goals and expectations.
• Strong eye for business and an ability to clearly and simply communicate complex topics.
• A desire to develop innovative methods, channels and creative content.
