Community & Localization Coordinator Russia and Eastern Europe

The studio was founded by 15 + years? experience talents from many AAA titles, with a goal to make great games and have fun developing them. The studio is based in Uppsala, the fourth largest city in Sweden, a city with great development traditions. The city was founded in 1286, and the studio opened its doors in 2014.

Gaming Corps is currently looking for a full-time Community & Localization Coordinator for Russia and Eastern Europe. The Community & Localization Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating localization efforts and supporting the community engagement plans in the specified territories, including managing relationship with localization outsourcers and engaging players in conversations on social channels and supporting the creation of community content such as FAQs, livestreams, and guides in the appropriate and assigned languages / territories.


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build an identity and develop an active and engaged relationship in assigned territories and languages
- Coordinate localization tasks assigned to an outsourced team of translators and editors
- Coordinate the localisation work flow, ensuring adherence to process and deadlines by all stakeholders
- Collaborate with localisation team in order to keep the same level of standards/quality across all languages
- Offer community administration in chat rooms, and on social media platforms in the appropriate languages
- Act as the link between the community, the developers and QA
- Assess the community's pulse, understand community concerns, and communicate community status to development team
- Report on areas of concern for the community, surface trending topics/threads, and share/contextualize engagement metrics
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports capturing a snapshot of overall community health


KEY QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate has multicultural background and has the ability to grasp the essence of scripts and adapt it into target markets.
Also he/she has to be comfortable with online communities and social media, with excellent communication skills, and with the ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment. We also believe that the right person for this role has good judgement to recognize sensitive topics and address any conflict that might arise within the community.
- Excellent knowledge of English, Russian and at least one of Eastern European language, preferably Ukrainian
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to create quality documentation for internal and external audiences in all required languages
- Experience in working with a team of translators and editors in multiple languages
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills
- 2-3 years' experience in a community management or customer service role
- Previous experience with online tools and strong understanding of social media services, mechanics and trends.
- Strong organizational skills and an independent, self-motivated work style
- Ability to think outside the box to solve problems
- An open and friendly character and a service minded "can do" attitude
