Today IKEA have several Development Engineers and Specialists that work with developing customer and environmental friendly solutions for IKEAs home furnishing products. In order to develop next generation’s plastic raw material, we need to strengthen our organisation with skilled and experienced Development Engineers.

Assignment

Your main assignment will be to work in close collaboration with IKEA Home Furnishing Suppliers & IKEA of Sweden in projects for the development of the existing and future unique solutions of material for IKEA products. You will be working on developing plastic raw material solutions mainly within the plastic category.

You will be driving and taking part in innovative development projects, performing material tests and securing the Quality level of the raw material in the responsibility area. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the technical documentation, and working with the standardization of the plastic material range. You will also lead the quality compliance of the material and production processes at the raw material suppliers in accordance with IKEA specifications.
