Component Release Engineer - Electric Machines

Position:

Component  Release Engineer - Electric Machines.

Work assignment

Specification and engineering project management of electric machines. The machines are used in e-AAMs electric driveline systems. They have power outputs between 10 and 300 kW and work at voltages up to 1000 V. The position integrates deeply with supplier design and development teams as well as with internal e-AAM teams such as the system design team, the mechanical design team and the test and validation team.

Qualifications 

Desired Knowledge:

- Permanent magnet and asynchronous 3 phase AC motors: Design, dimensioning, requirement setting, performance estimation, system integration, EMC considerations, testing etc.
- AC Motor drives: Design, dimensioning, requirement setting, performance estimation, system integration, EMC considerations, testing etc.
- Project management in industrial product development projects

Desired Experience:  

- At least five years of experience of Industrial product development, ideally, but not necessarily, from the automotive sector

Desired Education: 

- A relevant university degree, preferable a masters degree (or equivalent)

- You must be fluent in English, our primary working language. An additional working language such as Swedish or German is an advantage.
