Concept Engineers - 2 positions

The Concept Centre, design and manufacture concepts and early physical test objects.Concept Centre produces from single components for our pilot series to complete executable concept cars and show cars for the major auto shows around the world.

We are currently looking for two Concept Engineers for Order Office & Concept Centre with 25 employees with different roles, project leader, concept engineers and tool engineers, project planner and purchase. Our customers are mainly in R&D and Styling. We are for example responsible for designing prototypes for our show cars and concept cars both engineering functionality and tool for manufacturing in our in-house production process.

Main responsibilities

* Develop a variety of different prototypes and test objects for internal costumers
* You will use Catia V5 to create objects and the tools needed to make them in the workshops at Concept Centre
* You will work closely with different internal customers and order office and workshops at Concept Centre

Required qualifications

* Minimum of at least two years Qualified Vocational Education BA in Engineering within design engineering or similar.
* At least three years of work experience within design engineering in Catia V5 in workbenches like Part Design and Generative Shape Design.
* Experience of Teamcenter and well-familiar with VPDS and our past and current model programs.
* Good knowledge about tooling and prototype materials like carbon fibre, polyurethane etc.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Driver's license
* Mechanical/Mechatronic skills are meritorious
* Work experience of the Kinematics Workbench in Catia V5 is meritorious
