Connected Platforms Operations Lead – Digital Solutions division

The Connected Platforms Operations Lead role is a key resource in our team.


Your mission
The fleet of connected machines is global, and several platforms and technologies are used to make sure that the machines get connected, that data is being transferred and stored, and that the correct data is made available - All in a secure way. These platforms are maintained by R&D but need a stakeholder from an operations point of view. As part of this role, you will have the operational responsibility for the connected asset lifecycle management, training and documentation, support to the organization, supplier Service Level Agreements, and you take responsibility for platform hosting as well as platform security. You will act as the stakeholder towards several agile teams, and you will need to have the global operations perspective, and an understanding for customer requirements as well as internal needs of machine data.


Your profile
To succeed in this role, you need the ability to handle complex structures in an efficient way, handle daily prioritizations within different areas, and you know and understand the requirements that need to be in place to operate the connected fleet. We believe that you have a university degree in engineering and/or a few years of solid work experience from a similar position. We see great value if you also have experience of dealing with connected assets, are used to managing daily operations, and have the skills to drive initiatives from start to end. An understanding of R&D is meriting, but an understanding of digital operations is more important.
As a person you are organized and driven. Your networking and communication skills are very important since you will be working in an international arena with colleagues globally spread. You are structured and thrive in a fast-paced environment. It is an advantage if you have experience from telematics or connectivity solutions on a global scale, to fully understand the complexity of the operations. The ability to drive operations in an efficient way, make daily priorities, and have many inputs and networks in the weekly schedule is of highest importance.


Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
