We are now looking for a Contract Manager within IT Logistics to join our great team. We believe that a role as a Contract Manager is a perfect career step for those who like working with a large set of various stakeholders, both within IT and business. You will grow business know-how and develop your skills in commercial negotiations.

Our function IT Logistics is rapidly growing and our current and new IT-solutions are critical for H&M’s further expansion. A key focus for us is to utilize our vendors’ capabilities in the best possible way. You will have a key role in making sure we procure the right services by working close to our delivery leaders and representatives from our vendors. We have many joint contracts with the business organization (Global Logistics) so you will have many contacts with the business side as well.

You will be overall responsible for all contracts within one or several delivery areas, working closely together with project managers, delivery managers, vendor managers, business representatives and our legal experts.

Areas of responsibility

The job of an H&M Contract Manager comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun!

Your to do-list includes:

- Lead and support the contract lifecycle
- Lead and support commercial discussions and contract issues with vendors
- Ensure good relations with our vendors
- Write and interpret contracts
- Contribute to our sourcing function and be involved in development and maintenance of our sourcing process and sourcing strategy
- Support and enforce commercial and contractual awareness throughout the organization
- Support and sometimes lead our procurement initiatives
- Managing purchase orders, amendments, commercial settlements for change request and purchases. (i.e RFI, RFP, evaluation, negotiation, agreement, call-offs, etc)
- Interpret contracts and explain contract terms to colleauges
- Troubleshooting in potential contractual disputes

You will also support delivery responsible with vendor follow-up, play an important role in decision forums and head internal training sessions regarding existing contracts.

And your skills include:

- Minimum two years of IT purchasing or contract management within IT
- Several years' experience of leading negotiations
- Experience of purchasing complex IT services
- Substantial experience of writing and interpreting contracts
- Analytical mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Build trustful relationships
- Strong and personal interest in understanding and collaborating with your stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Commercial know how
- Business sense with the ability to balance cost consciousness with delivery risk in order to get the best possible outcome of vendor negotiations
- You have both attention to details and is able to see the big picture of what is best for H&
