Volvo Powertrain is the Strategic Centre for powertrain issues in the Volvo Group. The scope covers complete powertrain systems, components such as engines, transmissions and driven axles, including development, manufacturing, sourcing, partnership, installation service and support in close co-operation with the customers. Volvo Powertrain has operations in Sweden, France and North- and South America and Japan. Within Volvo Powertrain site Malmö, we are looking for a Controller. The Volvo Powertrain team in Malmö supports the Volvo Group with engineering and test resources on a consultancy basis, especially in the engine development domain with focus on engine performance development and on turbo system issues. The Controller will be a part of the supporting team for the site which besides the accounting/financial function includes site Management, Quality and IT-support. Job description: The Controller for Volvo Powertrain Malmö has the responsibility of accounting, invoicing, financial planning and reporting for the site. The small site offers the broad range of tasks of a small business unit, in combination with the tools and network of the Volvo Group. The Controller will be a member of the VPT Malmö Management Team. Examples of your tasks: Project, cost center and profit center accounting Customer invoicing Financial planning - budgets and forecasts Financial reporting Preferred qualifications and personal skills: University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or a broad experience from accounting and business Analytical skills and knowledge and experience of financial and business control Knowledge of SAP R/3 is valuable Strong business orientation. High level of integrity and credibility Good communication and networking skills Fluently, verbal as well as written, in Swedish and English We believe that you have the ability to work in a systematic and structured way.
