Wärtsilä Biogas Solutions in Kalmar develops and manufactures plants that purify biogas from carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, and water. This purification enables the renewable gas to replace fossil energy in vehicle fuels and in all applications where natural gas (fossil) is currently used, both in gas and liquid forms (CBG/LBG). We are a division of the Gas Solutions business area, which belongs to the publicly listed Wärtsilä with its headquarters in Finland. In Kalmar, we house both the office, where all engineering activities take place, and the workshop for prefabrication, assembly, and testing before we ship modules to our customers.

We are now seeking a Controller to join our team at the Kalmar office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and forecast production costs
Perform monthly closing and reporting activities
Assist with VAT-related issues
Monitor and analyse Income Statement and Balance Sheet items
Act as a key user for selected controlling areas
Be accountable for the development of one's own function and conduct internal trainings
Support the business with diverse tasks, ad-hoc analyses, and reports on financial performance


REQUIREMENTS
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Economics
Team player with the ability to also work independently
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
A service-oriented, enthusiastic, and practical mindset
Flexibility and an eagerness to learn and evolve in line with business needs
Familiarity with SAP, MS Office, and PowerBI is an advantage
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
