Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas: tools for metal cutting; equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries; stainless materials, special alloys and metallic and ceramic resistance materials; as well as process systems. We are now looking for a Corporate Communication Manager with experience in both marketing and strategic/corporate communications.

Key performance areas
The purpose of this role is to create a solid message platform covering the brand, the vision and the core values that Sandvik stands for, as well as important strategic initiatives. You will create corporate communication packages and campaigns for Sandvik, on which the global Communications function can rely, as well as produce and plan communications material for Group Executive Management. Further, you are responsible of the implementation of the message platform in the organization and communication with important stakeholders, and will ensure clear targets for how the material and message platform is to support Sandvik's strategy and business direction.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Communications or equivalent experience. You are a Senior Communication Professional with more than five years' experience in strategic/corporate communications and/or marketing positions, running marketing/communication campaigns and producing communication material. You have good knowledge and experience of branding, as well as of communications with media, public and other important stakeholders in society. You also have experience of working in a global or international company, and are fluent in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

You are a skilled communicator, who is both outgoing and a good listener, with the ability to cooperate with many different target audiences, both internally and externally. You show enthusiasm and self-motivation and have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize your own work and those of your team in an efficient manner. You have a strong customer focus, are result oriented, and know how to build effective, global teams. The position as Manager places major demands on your leadership skills. You are perceptive and easily create a trusting environment for collaboration, while inspiring and motivating your co-workers to create team spirit and enthusiasm in order to reach the business' goals. You are also interested in developing both the business and your co-workers and have the ability to implement changes.
