Your position

Cambio is currently looking to grow the Legal Department to satisfy the company’s ever-increasing need for legal support in all parts of the business, covering commercial, corporate and regulatory law. As a Corporate Counsel, you will support the company and the General Counsel with respect to all legal matters in the group, covering mainly Sweden, Denmark, UK and Sri Lanka. Cambio’s business is built on high value IT contracts and the Corporate Counsel will for instance contribute to the legal work by preparing and handling those contracts, which include involvement in public procurement processes as well as supporting the General Counsel in managing and amending existing client contracts. You will support the General Counsel and parts of the rest of the organization.

The responsibilities will among other things cover the following areas:

- Commercial contracts
- Public Procurement
- M&A (including a potential IPO)
- Corporate Legal
- GDPR
- Administration of agreements
- Pension and insurance
- Rental agreements


The responsibilities also include to initiate and support execution of companywide routines and processes to meet internal and external demands. The Corporate Counsel will report to the General Counsel. The role may include national and international travel.

About you

We are looking for someone who has 3-5 years professional experience as a Corporate Counsel/Legal Counsel and/or from a well renowned law firm. Preferably industry experience from Medtech, IT, Telecom or Financial Sector. You need to have practical experience with Swedish corporate law and European data protection law, and you have the ability to manage/handle a third-party firm on a specific topic or matter if necessary. You also have a Swedish Law Degree LL.M.

As a person, you can handle heavy workload meanwhile staying focused to your tasks. It is also key that you have high communication skills both in Swedish and in English and that you care for high ethical standard. You have the capability of prioritizing conflicting demands and handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
