Gardiner & Theobald is now in an expansive phase and Academic Work is on their behalf looking for additional Cost Managers for their office in Stockholm.
As a Cost Manager you will work on a great variety of construction schemes being involved in the whole building process from feasibility to final accounts, monitoring key aspects such as cost, quality, and time. Gardiner & Theobald’s current portfolio contains some of Stockholm’s most iconic landmarks and you will be involved in different projects simultaneously; giving you a great overall experience and knowledge in the field. You will usually work within 1-4 different projects in different stages.

Gardiner & Theobald is a growing small/medium-sized company - A perfect place for someone keen on developing and increasing your role together with the company. You will be situated in their top renovated office in Stockholm, right next to Stureplan together with 13 other colleagues.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Cost Manager you will be working together with your colleagues on different construction projects focusing on cost, quality, and time. Everyday tasks include - but are not limited to - estimating; procurement advice; tender reviews; project management; scheduling; and cost control. The overall goal is to minimise risk and create opportunities to maximise the value and return of clients’ developments and property assets.

Depending on your previous experience within the field, you will be introduced to different parts of the construction process and receive on-the-job training to master the areas you lack experience in. The position as a Cost Manager is a perfect role for someone who strives to achieve results and develop, and maybe in the future sees themselves having the whole world as a possible workplace.
All new employees are assigned mentors who will support them in their role. Together you will create a bespoke career and development plan; laying out a clear path suited to fit you.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Has between 3-5 years of relevant work experience from one or more of the following: Estimating; Contract Engineering; Construction Consultancy; Cost Controlling; Finance, Planning and Procurement; Quantity Surveying, Project Management and/or skilled vocational work from the construction field


* Has a higher education within the field of construction, either Engineering degree (or equivalent) or vocational education
* Swedish and English professional proficiency, since both languages will be used at the company and in the role as Cost Manager


Additional Qualifications


* Have knowledge in Bluebeam and/or MAP
* Have knowledge in Excel and MS Project
