Cost Reduction Leader - Exterior Engineering

The department Exterior Engineering consists of four sections, with a wide range of technology and material, e.g sheet metal hoods, polymer bumpers, electrical function intense lighting systems and glass. We are responsible for all product documentation defining the exterior of the car. You will be part of the Strategy, Concept and Maintenance section as manager of the Maintenance group.

Main responsibilities

* Plan and carry out cost reduction idea creation workshops
* Support and boost cost reduction
* Lead feasibility studies of the cost reduction ideas
* Anchor the cost reduction ideas to all stakeholders including management
* Regularly report the ideas and cost reduction status in the Cost Reduction Management team and to the line management

Required qualifications

* Master of Science or equivalent experience
* Experience of project management and drive for result
* Knowledge in industry design and verification
* Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
