Suitable education (BSc/MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Sciences or the equivalent).
3+ years of work experience related to consumer lending, credit risk management, business intelligence, data analysis and/or statistical modelling.
Strong SQL, Excel and data visualization skills; comfort communicating complex analyses
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.
Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same.
Experience of making timely and rational decisions, based on relevant information and experience, backed up by data.




Desirable Skills


Experience at a financial institution handling corporate credit analysis and/or credit scoring.
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of short term lending, personal loans, credit cards/revolving credit.
Experience with MS Power BI or SiSense a big plus.
Practical knowledge of machine learning/statistical modelling/A/B testing/CRM analytics is a plus.

Ability to juggle a busy and varied workload. We are now searching for a Credit Risk Analyst to strengthen our Decision Analytics team. In the role, you will work closely with the business lending team and be part of the central team of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, BI Analysts.

Responsibilities


Analyse lending product portfolio on the credit risk perspective and sales opportunities as well as sign detection activities;
Support future risk management strategy and products offering relevant analysis and insights;
Conduct projects related to data gathering and data pilots;
Document and suggest changes in policy rules and credit score strategy;
Planned productively projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals, using a variety of analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Work with large complex data sources such as financial transactions, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, credit bureau reports, marketing responses and CRM activity to extract meaning.
Keep improvements to the internal reporting system and KPIs.
Proactively provide data-driven insights and custom reports on critical areas of the business.
Develop the business lending division’s analytics strategy as we expand across the globe.
