About the job

As a CTO you will independently drive and coordinate a wide range of operations in an exciting and dynamic international industry.

You will apply best practices and design patterns to create scalable solutions, in line with Delivery Hero's vision and strategy. You are going to lead, inspire and grow an agile development team, as well as form and articulate the company's technological vision and road map. As a CTO, part of your responsibilities is to manage multiple development teams of developers and engineers in different countries. Together you are going to define the software development methodology of the organization and establish & supervise the QA process, including integration, deployment & system testing.


Requirements:


You hold a university degree in IT engineering or equivalent.
You have at least two years of management or comparable working experience and deep technical background and previous experience within web or mobile platforms.
A good communication ability, with fluent verbal and written skills in English.


The technical environment:

The core of the system is built with PHP. The main framework used is Silex and its built with an MVC architecture. The databases used are MongoDB and Mysql and RedisDB for storage. Microservice-based architecture is used and all the services support REST with a JSON payload. Its highly appreciated if you have previous experience with similar techniques.
