CUSTOMER PROJECTS MANAGER

In the role as Customer Project Manager you will have close contact with our customers and provide technical support to customers world-wide. You will be the spider of the web in the dialogue with customers, our global sales team, and our R&D team, focusing on reaching the shortest time to market for our products. You will mainly work from our office in Malmö, but you must also be willing to travel to customers and to our other sites from time to time.

Key responsibilities

- Manage technical pre-sales support to our customers

- Collect customer requirements and provide frequent information to the rest of our Customer Project Organization as well as to product management and R&D.

- Act as technical communication interface between customers and Fingerprints HQ.

- Help our customers to integrate our software into their own products

- Design or modify our software components to meet the needs of the customers

The main goal is to make sure that each customer reaches the appropriate level of technical support. To your help, you have a dedicated support team in the different regions. You will coordinate multi discipline engineering teams and ensure consistency of concurrent engineering activities. You are expected to provide weekly and monthly status reports and track progress of the Customer Project work.

Your background and profile

We expect that you have an Engineering degree in Electronics or Telecommunication (or similar), combined with at least 5 years of experience within the relevant technical field. You need to have previous successful experience from Project Management in an international environment.

You already have a good understanding of the fundamentals of cellphone- and laptop development, and you have an interest and good technical understanding of our sensor architecture and biometry integration to cellphones and laptops. You quickly understand and take on new technology.

You are customer focused and show a strong business acumen together with a high level of drive to support customers and internal stakeholders. You enjoy a fast paced environment and you have the ability to quickly find solutions if problems occur. You show efficiency and are not afraid to make decisions. In this role you need to have excellent communication skills. It is important that you have the ability to influence and engage others, at all levels and among different nationalities. Our corporate language is English (fluent written and spoken English is required in the role), but we also value knowledge of other languages, such as Mandarin, Korean and/or Swedish.
