The Quality Management System (QMS) forms the backbone of the business and should provide streamlined, standardized and integrated procedures for how the work is to be performed across functions and sites.

Location: Stockholm / Sweden

The Site QMS Director ensures that the Management System applicable to the site is adapted to the business needs, deployed, used and compliant with the Alstom/Region's referential, in relation with local EHS and E&C managers to ensure coherence of actions related to the Management System

The term Site in this context should be understood as Sweden and Finland but the role will also cover D&IS activities in the other countries in the Nordic cluster.


Key Responsibilities:

Deployment of Alstom Policy and QMS on site:
To Coordinate Alstom and Region Line processes and method & tools local deployment, together with local “Quality métiers” functions
To ensure Process governance, Risk and Opportunity management with site interested parties
To Provide local teams with effective support (training, day-to-day coaching) for process application
To Ensure Quality Management System documentation is properly managed, updated, and communicated
To Keep informed the site management team about the status of processes deployment/implementation/results


Compliance with site QMS:
To Ensure site QMS conformance with Alstom and Region QMS, Customer standards, and ISO9001/IRIS requirements/CMMI/ECM...
To Enhance the assessment of QMS effectiveness through an Internal audit organization
To Issue yearly internal audit planning (including workstation audits) and monitor/control its achievement
To Prepare, follow, and analyze QMS assessments achieved by certification bodies and main customers. Communicate about QMS improvement actions, through the Quality network (site “Quality métiers” functions)
To Ensure "Problem Solving Tool" action plan management, following findings list issued after system audits
To ensure organization and consolidation results of Process Reviews, and site Quality Management Review
With the effective organization of internal and external audits and management of action plans resulting from them (actual progress consistent with closing deadlines)


Qualifications:
MASTER degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent
5 to 10 years of experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
Knowledge of the railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset. In particular experience from CMMI would be seen very positively.
Fluent English, and Swedish would be an asset
