Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Connected vehicles are important keys in Scania's “driving the shift” strategy. Through vehicle-generated data and associated control capabilities we enable the transparency, efficiency, and sustainability of electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and the overall logistics ecosystem.

At the Connected Systems department (EC) at Scania R&D, we work with enabling solutions with a span from telematics, IoT solutions, and cloud infrastructure. We have both the end-to-end responsibility for the daily operations of Scania’s connectivity platform, communicating with all our vehicles across the globe, and the continued research and development of the platform’s new capabilities, used by services and solutions at Scania, as well as by customers and partners in the logistics ecosystem.

What you will do

In the newly established group – Connected Compliance, you will collaborate with the regulation experts and project team members among the R&D organization, support set technical requirements, and define the cybersecurity solutions/architecture with other specialists from different fields.

On daily basis, you will


• break down security regulations/standards into concrete modular requirements, guidelines, and solutions/architect
• support to design and develop security features for system architectures
• identify not acceptable risks for components, sub-systems, and products to ensure security compliance
• support the Test and Verification team at module and system levels to verify that all parts of the platform, product, and process including subcontractors are in compliance with security regulations/standards for platform projects and product development.
• follow up on security regulation development in different regions, and support security strategies for SW/HW systems, networks, and data centers.

Who you are

We believe you have


• genuine interest in new technologies and products by creating modular requirements, architect design, and technical solutions in complex environments including Cloud, Telecom, Security and Privacy.
• ideally 5 years+ experience in cybersecurity & risk assessment, IoT (including module development, OTA), and product development. Experiences in the automotive industry are meritorious.
• enjoy working in an international environment with a large network of colleagues.

Skills


• Proven track record as a technical specialist in cybersecurity solution architecture.
• Professional in related security legislations, e.g. UN R 155, ISO/SAE 21434 and J3061.
• Ability to digest a large amount of technical and regulatory information.
• Proficient in English. Other languages are meritorious.

• Ability to work independently and in small teams where each individual’s contribution is critical.
• Team player, and enjoy working with different people.
