About you
We are looking for you who are passionate about data privacy. You lead, steer and drive the implementation of data privacy at IKEA Group. You monitor and report compliance of IKEA Group with internal and external demands related to data privacy. You will be a part of the Information Security team and report to the Group Information Security Manager.

To be successful in this job, you need to have:
-Excellent knowledge of data privacy laws and related regulations, understand the impact to business and business solutions
-Experience in translating requirements from laws and regulations into practical, implementable activities which can be managed and measured
-Experience from doing holistic data privacy management for the business and for global/local business solutions
-Ability to act with personal integrity, discretion and reliability
-Ability to build trust and communicate clearly and with different people in various situations
-Ability to make things happen by champion flexibility, speed and simplicity

Group Risk Management & Compliance (GRM&C) leads, steer and support the business to protect people, brand and assets today and in the future. We ensure a safe & secure environment for our co-workers, visitors and customers. We develop and lead people and processes that support IKEA Group to manage opportunities and risks in a responsible way.
Information Security as well as Data Privacy are a vital part of the Group Risk Management & Compliance department. In this context we closely cooperate with Group Legal, Operations & Shared Services and IKEA Business Solutions.


About the assignment

In this job you will be responsible to
-Design and ensure that Data Privacy strategic direction is aligned with Information Management and Information Security direction
-Ensure ?Privacy by design? is implemented
-Design, monitor and support Data Privacy reporting
-Establish, maintain and support relationships with the relevant local / global data privacy and compliance stakeholders
-Initiate and drive Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), provide hands on support and secure that decisions are made risk based and on risk appetite
-Design and drive data privacy competence development in collaboration with Information Management, Information Security and relevant matrix organisations
