We are now looking for a Data Protection Officer, DPO.

The role

As the DPO, you will lead and have responsibility for implementing, monitoring and enforcing the Qliro Group´s privacy and data protection compliance program. In this role, you will monitor and ensure compliance with GDPR, European and national data protection laws and Qliro Group policies and procedures, including conducting regular internal compliance checks. You will work with information security experts in relation to the development and implementation of technical protections and safeguards. As the DPO, you will continuously raise privacy awareness within the Qliro Group, through training sessions as well as by informing and advising staff in order to ensure compliance. You will act as the liaison for the relevant supervisory authorities on all issues in relation to data privacy. Also, you will maintain ongoing and current knowledge of evolving data protection and privacy legislation.

The place of work is Stockholm. The work will include travelling within Sweden.

Who are you?

You have a university degree in law or equivalent experience of laws and regulations. You have thorough knowledge of data privacy regulations including in-depth knowledge of GDPR and preferably you have relevant working experience of dealing with data protection and privacy issues for Nordic / international organizations. Also, knowledge of information technology, systems and infrastructure is preferred.

You are structured with strong project management and organizational skills, and you have integrity, professional ethics and sound judgement in managing risks and enforcing Group-wide standards. You know how to communicate effectively with both the highest levels of management and decision-making individuals within the organization, as well as with other levels and build professional relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders. You have good training and presentation skills and you speak and write fluently in both English and Swedish.
