About the job Group Financial Products & Advice (GFPA) is responsible for Swedbank's savings, insurance, leasing and loan products in our four home markets.

Your main role as a Data Steward will be to act as a bridge between business processes and development from the data perspective to ensure data quality, accuracy, format and definition. You will be responsible for understanding the trace, the lineage, meaning, content and relevance of data elements within the business domain.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyse, define and document business data requirements in line with target architecture
Consult and support consumers and act as subject matter expert in projects and programs
Define, manage and publish Business terms and definitions of data elements
Map business terms with database objects in IT systems
Monitor and report data quality
Analyse data quality, issue root-causes and evaluate their business impact together with business stakeholders
Propose improvement activities and resolve issues where possible
Test data from a business perspective as part of larger transformations and continuous improvements

Good understanding of the business domain
Previous work experience with data analysis
Good analytical and logical thinking with creative attitude
Ability to work independently
Higher education preferably in finance, mathematics, statistics or IT
Fluent written and spoken English
Good understanding of Information Modelling – Knowledge of database modelling and design is an advantage
