Delivery Technologist

Our customers are Pharmaceutical-, Biotech- and Medtech companies. We are now recruiting a Delivery Technologist, location Mölndal. Preferably the candidate start in February and the assignment will initially continue for one year. The candidate will be employed by Adecco.

Drug Product Delivery (DPD) in Mölndal is the only delivery site within AstraZeneca where they package and distribute investigational products to AZ clinical studies around the globe. They are a vital part of the Pharmaceutical Development Supply Chain organisation. The role holder will contribute to the Drug Product Delivery (DPD) organization in Supply Chain by applying technical expertise in the complex and regulated GMP environment.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities, Delivery Technologist
• Packaging and distribution of study drugs to meet demand in a timely, robust, cost effective manner meeting appropriate quality requirements.
• Process orders and create batch records.
• Perform and document all the operational work, incl. labelling and distribution according to written procedures and GMPs with manual and/or automated systems/equipments.
• Contribute to specific functional activities e.g. evaluation and development of new processes.
• Ensure effective collaboration at relevant interfaces within Supply Chain, QA and external partners, e.g. Fisher Logistics.
• Establish and recommend ways to improve flexibility and productivity, including new ways of working, resulting in shorter lead times.
• Work on assignments that may be complex in nature in which judgment is required in resolving problems.

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience
• Likely to be graduated Pharmacist or an experienced non-graduate
• Expertise in packaging labelling and distribution of clinical supplies
• Expertise in supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and or logistics operations and concepts with the working knowledge of clinical supply inventory systems.
• Thorough understanding of GMP/SHE requirements as applied to clinical packaging, materials management, warehousing, and distribution including cold chain management.
