We are searching for Demand Planners for our talent bank - talented people with the ambition to join us now or over the next 12 months. As a part of the recruitment process we will carry through an assessment centre the 20-21th of March.

At IKEA of Sweden (IOS), in Älmhult, we create the global product range and steer our global purchasing business based on our business idea to offer a wide range of well designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them. The Demand Planner organization is looking for people with a get-it-done attitude, a desire to challenge established working methods, live the values daily, and a wish to be part of a fast-growing business.

The Assignment
As a Demand Planner you act as the link between Commercial and Supply, turning in depth analysis of our sales history into an accurate forecast that is used to secure the availability of our products to our customers around the globe. In addition, being the Supply Organisation's speaking partner with Commercial you turn global and national sales plans into product level forecasts. Is this the challenge for you?
We are looking for co-workers with university degree with a minimum of 2-3 years planning experience, or any related role, ideally within retail industry, with fluency in both written and spoken English. You will need to have strong analytical skills and be a self-starter as well as have the ability to build rapport easily.
As a person you are energetic and motivated by taking on challenges. You have a positive attitude and you always look for better ways to find solutions. You also have the ability to simplify complex issues and come up with straight forward solutions

We will be interviewing continuously, which means that we may close the application process earlier than stated if we find the right candidates. The ad will close on the 3rd of March.
