Deputy Chief accountant

Inditex Nordics is looking for a Deputy/Chief Accountant – Permanent position in our office in Stockholm.


As Deputy Chief Accountant you will manage accounts in one or more of our companies in Scandinavia and report to the Financial Director. In this role you will be responsible for the daily accountant records and participate in the closing procedures, reporting and team management. Your role considers overviewing the business and financial operations, as well as day-to-day accounting functions.
Your main tasks will be:

• Prepare accounting records in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Supervise and plan the correct recording of business operation and their proper documentation.
• VAT Reconciliation and declaration
• Accounting of salaries and personnel costs.
• Ensuring monthly and yearly closing process is done with highest level of quality
• Cooperation with auditors, banks and stores.
• Internal controls, reconciliations, and other day by day tasks
• Team management, dedication and collaboration in achieving goals.


We are looking for someone with the following experience / characteristics:
• Education in Finance/Accounting
• 3 or more years of experience in accounting field
• Hands on and self-going profile
• Fluency in English and Swedish, knowledge of the local accounting regulations
• Planning , motivating and organization skills
• Result oriented and problem solving mind
