Design engineer HV battery

The Electric Propulsion department at CEVT is responsible for development of Hybrid and Electric Propulsion systems including all high voltage components.

As Design engineer HV battery will you work with Li-Ion batteries in automotive applications. The tasks will be simulate the battery performance to optimize the utilizing of the cell properties in an optimal way to achieve best power, energy and service life.  You will also work with specifications and supplier contacts.

 

Responsibilities and tasks

- Create models and simulate HV batteries.
- Responsible for integrating the HV battery in car platform.
- Create and maintain specifications i.e. Design Prerequisite and Software Requirement Specification.
- Balancing characteristics and requirements to maximize performance/cost.
- Create reports and present investigations in various meetings.

 

Requirements

- Experience in modeling and simulate HV batteries.
- Master of Science Engineering degree at M, E, F or similar.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Well accustomed to Chinese culture is an advantage.
- In favor of environmentally friendly technologies.
