Design Engineer
Contribute to creating a new development team, working with both new working methods as well as new designs.

Main tasks
.Analyzes and interpret the customer requirements to determine feasibility of product proposal.
.Analyze engineering problems using traditional analytical methods and FEA-packages
.Maintain relation with internal and external customer engineers working on the product design. Deliver design documents into the projects (POI, NPI, PIP)
. To create robust, cost effective and quality assured technical solutions.
. To support and encourage the compliance to company quality standards and other quality requirements.
. Work according to agreed processes and tools, and support continuous improvement of them.
. Create 3D models in CAD appropriate for prototyping and for serial production
. Create 2D drawings including measures and tolerances to secure functionality, taking into account to enable good manufacturability and possibility to measure.
. Perform tolerance stack up calculations.

Responsibilities
. In alignment with Design Manager agree with project responsible regarding project scoop and requirements.
. Secure that the design meets the agreed requirements.
.To design the product in terms of mechanical structures, kinematics, styling, packaging.
. Anchor the production feasibility of the product with production and purchase organisation

Candidate Profile
. Good knowledge in CAD system(s), preferably Catia V5.
. Awareness of Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and principles
. MSc/BSc Engineering degree with minimum 4 years of experience
. Experience in manufacturing of plastic / plastic tools
. Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish. Preferably oral command of at least one other language in addition to mother tongue.
. Analytic skills - you use your creativity and experience to analyse technical problems and provide input/recommendations
. Cross group communication - good communication and listening skills is used to interact with all levels of internal/external contacts
. Collaborative - to coordinate engineers from other groups, you have the ability to work well with others and to establish and facilitate good cooperation and communication
