The position involves responsibility for all piping engineering within the Work Package.



The position involves responsibility for all design engineering (3D-modelling and drawing production) within the Work Package.



Main tasks (project):

Responsible for the technical aspect of the projects, including responsibility for the design function and engineering method for Design (PEM).

Read and understand technical and commercial content of contract

Report potential internal cost/schedule issues continuously

Give input to VO/VOR or other changes/deviations.

Confirm that layout and functionality of the product is according to project requirements.

Responsible for follow up HSE related matters within the Design engineering group

Plan and manage all Design engineering activities.

Prepare MDL for all Design documents.

Manage clash check routines towards relevant envelopes.

Manage internal and external Design interfaces

Prepare and present Design part of Design Reviews

Follow-up cost

Give technical support to procurement, subcontractors and fabricators

Delegate work to Design Engineers and follow-up within the work package.



Other tasks (basis):

Contribute to maintaining and updating selected Design engineering related procedures and drawings (PEM, SolidWorks and SAP) in the department.

Personnel responsibility for the Project Design Group.



Candidates should have the following skills:

5+ years engineering experience, preferably from subsea or offshore design and fabrication

Good communication skills

Good English knowledge

Leadership skills

Ability to handle pressure from both internal and external stakeholders

Focus on commercial issues ? including contract, cost and schedule

Good technical educational background

Good knowledge of the CAD tool used (SolidWorks).

Sound and longtime experience with the given products.
