DEVELOPERS - STS

The STS team develops and is responsible for the ST System as well as development support to ST System operators that provide large-scale surveillance and monitoring solutions mainly for the residential and small business market.The team works closely with many types of partners, such as Telcos, ISPs, system integrators and security operators.

As developer in the STS team you will have the opportunity to work with system development in many different areas and environments.We are therefore looking for an individual that finds this kind of broad work stimulating.Your work will include but not be limited to system development for Linux using languages and tools such as C, PHP, HTML and Ajax.You will also do embedded development, mainly within network camera and video server but also for other embedded device types.Furthermore we hope you enjoy working with large scale Telco grade system development.

A big and important part of your job will be support and collaboration with partners all over the world, particularly during the initial staging of their systems, but also during expansion and when updates and modifications are required.We therefore believe that you enjoy working with external partners and that you are prepared do some traveling in order be successful in this area.

Job description in short:
System development, including but not limited to C, PHP, HTML, Ajax, database development, high availability and redundancy for large systems, operating systems, etc.
Support and collaboration with partners
Embedded development, mainly within network camera and video server
Pre-sales discussions and partner training

Job Qualifications:
Masters Degree in computer science or similar
You are an all-round developer who enjoys working with many different types of tasks
You enjoy working with developers and system integrator partners around the world
You have a good command of English, further languages would be a big advantage
You like to travel
You are outgoing and like meeting and communicating with new people
