We are now looking for our next Development Engineer who will join our R&D team in Stockvik! Here you will have the opportunity to be a part of many exiting projects and products development.
You will be joining a committed team of engineers and chemists, working in product development focusing on polymer synthesis in small and larger scale. You need to be skilled when it comes to laboratory work and procedures. As well as comfortable working both independently and with others. Since the position also requires you to deliver results, you need to be result oriented and a good communicator. Welcome with your application!


In your future role as Development Engineer you will
Secure a safe and standardized work in line with the HSE guidance and scope for the department and its functional standards.
Develop, prepare, execute and analyze research elements (e.g. problems, questions, ideas) in own discipline and develop new and improve existing research methodology, in line with the RD&I strategy, project and RD&I functional standards
Maintains and promotes a safe work environment, complies with safety policies and procedures. Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, both in the laboratory and in the field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean, orderly working environment
Promote and encourage an open working climate
Sets-up, plans, executes, analyzes, interprets and reports experiments within own unit.
Performs analysis/experimental work with accuracy, repeatability, reproducibility and precision.



We believe you bring
Master's Degree in chemistry / chemical technology or Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry /chemical technology
Good understanding, writing and speaking in Swedish and English language
Good computer knowledge eg windows, Excel



Great if you have
Previous work experience from laboratory



We believe you are results oriented, structured, methodical and used to working with deadlines. You are self-propelled and also positive, driven and have the ability to motivate and engage. You need to be cooperatively oriented and flexible. It´s also important you are curious and have a quality driven mind set.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to Manager Pilot and Synthesis Lab, Expancel R&D and based in Stockvik.
