We are responsible for the development of the electrical components of the thermal management system for our electrified vehicles. To keep up with the current and upcoming challenging projects, we are growing our team and we are looking for a new Development Engineer to become part of our journey.

Your Tasks

In the role of Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of new and improvement of existing hardware components. The journey begins by setting and providing our requirements to the suppliers, which are responsible for the design of the component, and actively co-develop the component. You will, also, coordinate and follow the testing (for example functional, environmental, electrical, and life length tests) and drive the continuous product adjustments/problem-solving. Your target will be the successful implementation of your component in our serial production and continuous improvements under the serial life period of the component.

During this process, full of challenges, you will work and collaborate closely with our suppliers. You will have cross-functional communication and collaboration with colleagues from installation groups, testing, production, purchasing, and other areas and brands at the TRATON Group. You will also be responsible for presenting and communicating your findings to various stakeholders.

Your profile  

To be successful in this role we believe that you have:


• University Degree in engineering preferably in electrical engineering
• Work experience in electrical engineering
• Work experience in product development (involvement in the industrialization of new products) and communication with suppliers is a plus
• Experience from Agile working methods (SAFe) is meritorious
• Passionate about new technologies and problem-solving, while being methodical and working towards our targets.
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while being a team player who likes to create a positive team spirit, spread the energy, and share ideas with your colleagues.
• Very good communication skills and enjoy working in a diverse and multicultural environment.
• Fluency in the English language, as we work and collaborate daily in an international environment.
