Development Engineer Industrialisation Tetra Pak

Main responsibilities You will belong to the Carton Bottle Platform who is leading the development of a product portfolio offering a competitive alternative to plastic bottles.You will belong to a team that will act as the technical lead and competence centre for the development and engineering of opening and cap solutions, both pre-fabricated and in-line produced.This is a team with competencies covering injection moulding tool design and manufacturing, opening and cap design, polymers, testing and validation and customer specifications.[ Your main tasks will be to: * Gather and develop technical requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Develop and industrialize innovative solutions based on technical specifications both as a member in a team and as the driver. * Build and share a high level of knowledge in pre-fabricated caps and openings characteristics and functionality throughout the entire value chain, from manufacturing to consumer use. * Build and share a high level of knowledge in manufacturing processes of pre-fabricated caps and openings, including some knowledge in plastic material. * Build and maintain relations with external suppliers in the area of pre-fabricated caps and openings such as injection moulding tools, assembly equipment and vision systems. * Technical coordination within Tetra Pak and with their suppliers.Drive activities and make project members and suppliers do what is necessary to make progress and fulfill goals, quality and time schedule. * Ownership of the technical specification, responsible until the suppliers production line is validated and functioning. Qualifications To be successful we believe that you have experience from similar tasks, ideally having dealt with establishing commercial production lines for injection moulded details.You have also understanding for high volume production with variability.Experience from package development and/or technical coordination or technical project management is valuable.[ We believe that you have an engineering degree, specialising in areas such as polymer, mechanical or production/industrialisation.You are also fluent in English.In the position we can see a strong informal leader with high personal drive.We believe that you are an open and knowledge sharing person with the drive and interest to lead this area.You are able to use informal authority to drive people and influence at all levels in the organisation.You have good communication skills,[ combined with a drive to influence people to do what you want them to.You are a good team player who are able to manage long term relations, good at finding the best possible solutions through influencing, negotiating and compromize -balancing the needs from both consumers, producers and Tetra Pak.You also have a combination of an innovative, analytical and practical mind.Your result orientation combined with your analytical and structured mind ensures that you will reach your goals on time.
