Product Engineering Unit - Radio Software Product Engineering Unit Radio Software (PEU RU SW) drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson’s radio products and solutions. We are a global organization, within Engineering Unit Hardware (EUHW), with engineers and developers collaborating across nine sites in Canada, Croatia, China, and Sweden to drive Ericsson’s strategy of securing our market leadership in radio.
At Production System we're at the forefront of innovation. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Development Environment Developer to help us optimize our development environment for peak productivity and efficiency.

This position reports to the Manager Frameworks & Development Environment.

What you will do
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand development needs and requirements
Design, implement, and maintain an innovative development environment that enhances developer workflows
Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to streamline development pipelines
Identify and resolve development environment issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Implement and enforce standard methodologies for version control, code quality, and collaboration within the development environment
Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance our development ecosystem
Mentor and provide technical support to developers, helping them improve their productivity
Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies related to development environments
Maintain, design and support CI flow components (loops/checks/tools)


You will bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Demonstrable experience as a Dev Env Developer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with DevOps practices and methodologies is a plus
