DevSecOps Architect

In the role as DevSecOps Architect you will be responsible for overall design and direction of Security Engineering across all in-house developed applications. The role will be critical in the development and ongoing security posture for digital financial applications. Further, you will be accountable for identifying and implementing our security principles and best practices to maintain application security and address the impact of non-human HTTP traffic on both performance and security.

This role will partner with the IT Security Team and IT Developer Experience Team, assist with cloud architecture, provide guidance and/or implement mitigation to address security concerns using modern security tools as well as work with developers/architects to assist in securing our solutions. As a subject matter expert, you will leverage various tools to analyze the security posture of systems & applications while working independently and collaboratively to address any issues.

This role will be part of our Enterprise Architect team and report directly to our Enterprise Architect Manager.

In the role as DevSecOps Architect you will

- Create, maintain, and support security configurations designed specifically for all internet-facing in-house applications
- Be responsible for Web Application Security: Engineering, deployment, and operations of security policies with for web and security applications, frameworks and designs
- Assist in the creation automation for security implementations and workflow integrations, including API Security, Container Security, and Cloud Security
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within Security and Engineering teams to continuously improve our applications' security posture.
- Collaborate with Business Directors, Managers, and Stakeholders to define expectations including needed security requirements
- Assess and provide technical direction on future projects and needs
- Contribute to Solution Architecture Designs to provide security best practices
- Provide accurate and thorough estimates of time and resources necessary to complete security efforts
- Take part in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): design, development, testing, deployment, and maintaining
- In all phases of the SDLC, engage and provide recommendations to experts of cross functional disciplines
- Coach and mentor developers


On a personal level

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have

- Several years of experience as a hands-on developer/Solution Architect overseeing enterprise or retail level applications using the software stack at Resurs (PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, IBMi, Redis, RabbitMQ)
- Experience developing and maintaining architecture-based documentation
- Knowledge of open source and commercial application security tools and frameworks
- Experience with modern security and defense mechanism applications
- Knowledge of DDos techniques, OWASP risks, Vulnerabilities, and Mitigation Mechanisms
- Proficiency in common network and web protocols
- Experience working in cloud environments and understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Experience with automated continuous integration and continuous deployment software pipelines
- A curious, open and innovative mindset


For this role, you could work from either of our Nordic offices. We apply a Hybrid Remote solution, meaning you are able to work partly from home if preferred.
