SEI HQ in Stockholm is looking for a structured, solution-oriented and proactive Digital Coordinator to join our Corporate Communications Unit.

The role
This role is highly important in ensuring the development and maintenance of the digital profile and online event capacity of the organization. You will work with employees across our ten office locations around the world to manage and improve SEI’s digital activities, including the curation of content on our website and social media accounts. You will also coordinate and support our online events and webinars with technical expertise and practical ideas.
The Corporate Communications Unit is one of two units in the communications department at SEI Headquarters. The unit’s goals are to enable better messaging, provide quality assurance and promotion of content, manage SEI’s branding and visual identity, and lead the improvement of our digital ecosystems.
Key duties and responsibilities include
Work closely within the Corporate Communications Unit and facilitate publishing, coordination of projects and other comms activities
Support the global communications team on the use and improvement of our digital channels, and be the main point of advice for content and platform questions
Manage SEI’s main Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts; including follow-up and analysis of analytics
Support online events with technical expertise, facilitation of events and promotional activities
Create and maintain documentation to support communications processes and improve the quality of digital content
Publish content to the SEI website and provide quality assurance on content and formatting of work posted by others
Provide support (including technical publishing assistance in WordPress) to our global communications team
Create multimedia and digital design assets and elements to enhance the impact of our content
Conduct training for new and existing staff on web publishing, social media, and related topics

Who you are
We are looking for an organized, tech-interested and proactive digital communicator with experience in coordinating projects, publishing content on the web and supporting online events from a technical perspective. You will be one of SEI’s global experts on our digital platforms, will support others, promote and create content, and host webinars to enable SEI to bridge science, policy and practice.
Because this is a central role in a global organization, you need an inclusive mindset, strong organizational skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities. You also need to be able to learn about new platforms and technical options for our digital ecosystem.
Formal qualifications and knowledge
A degree in communications or a related field
At least three years of experience working with websites and social media
At least one year of experience working with online events
A track record of creating quality digital content, ideally in a variety of formats such as social media posts, videos and/or graphics
Proven experience with web content management systems (ideally WordPress), including training others and/or troubleshooting technical problems
Experience in monitoring, analyzing and regular reporting digital analytics
Experience creating images for the web using Adobe Photoshop or similar
Experience using other tools in the Adobe Creative Cloud is an advantage
Knowledge of web languages, such as HTML and CSS, is an advantage

Personal skills required in the position
Advanced English writing and editing skills for digital content such as social media posts
Strong coordination and organizational skills with an interest to work in many different areas
Interest and the required patience to build our capacity as a team
An ability to find innovative solutions and see outside the box
A diplomatic approach and an inclusive mindset
The ability to make good decisions while balancing conflicting priorities
The ability to set clear expectations, seek clarification, and be responsive
Experience working in collaboration with web developers and/or designers is an advantage
Swedish skills are an advantage
